'We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Varosh. It is located in the center of old town conveniently close to everything. Also if you are coming by car, there are a couple of parking spots reserved for the accommodation at the upper gate of the town so that you don’t have to drive through the narrow streets.'

'Everything about the property was good. The location wasn't optimal but not terrible either.'

'Beautiful view of the lake, clean room and very helpful staff.'

'The property is central to the old walled city. Please be aware the host does not provide soap, shampoo, hair dryer nor coffee sugar nor tea. Really just expect a bed hot water and a shower. If you have this knowledge and agree than you should be fine with this accommodation. I felt the property was a little pricey but the area does comand premium prices and you can obviously find greater comfort if you had the budget for it. I think you could do this area comfortably in 3 days...

'All ok. Very friendly welcome. '

'Great location on Lake Ohrid. Beautiful view and close to the old town'

'Clean room, quite dated'

'Zeer goede keuze.

'If you are booking last minute for Lake Ohrid and you need a room with a bed and a bathroom at a reasonable price, this is a place for that, but not much more. It's about 5 minutes downhill to the nearest beach and to town. Uphill is a climb and doable for the able bodied, but not recommend for those with mobility issues. The owner will kindly offer pick up at the bus station; take him up on it as you won't find this place on your own. Lake Ohrid in general is lively and has a great vibe, don't...

'This hotel was very dirty and stinky. We have travelled all over the world and understand that a 5 star hotel means different things in different countries, but this hotel was just nasty. Maybe it was a 5 star hotel 50 years ago, but not any more. We did stay over night because we had nowhere else to go and got out of there in the morning. The hotel refused to give us a refund for the remaining nights, claiming they have a strict cancellation policy. I just wanted to show my Canadian husband...
