'I have no idea how this hotel has such a good rating. So misleading. I’m driving cross country and am exhausted from a 15 hr drive. I check Expedia and think okay this is a good one at a fair price. I get to my room, walk in and get hit with a mildew smell. The sheets on the bed were moist and the towels in the bathroom the same, moist towels. Totally disgusting. The shampoo in the bathroom they provide has enough in it for one shower. Found a large bug crawling on my wall. To top of this...

'Seriously the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I’m not usually someone who leaves negative reviews, but people need to know what we experienced. We booked two rooms for one night—one for my wife and me, and another for a friend. When we checked in, the first room had urine in the toilet and clearly had not been cleaned. The second room had a strong smell of marijuana. We decided to keep the room that smelled like weed because we didn’t want to be a nuisance and already had to switch one...

'Breakfast was good'

'The room is outdated but clean, afternoon staff is great! Morning staff needs help and breakfast is horrible! The pancake batter is supposed to be on ice packs to stay cool so it was turning bad! I work at a hotel also so thats why i knew it was not gonna be good since i do breakfast also! Was a quiet nights rest and thats what was needed!'

'Nice beds and TVs in all 5 rooms. Large kitchen and great outdoor seating spaces. Cozy and family friendly. Nice location close to Johnson Lake State Park for fishing. A little bit of a walk to the beach to swim.'

'Great place for a large family. Plenty bedding, a nice sized yard for the littles to play. Plenty of folding chairs along with stationary furniture for everyone to sit and visit or for meals. The host is delightful, instructions and rules very clear and easy to follow!'
