'With out doubt one of the best holidays ever. Fantastic place, people and service. Could not fault anything. If you want a South African Experience then Mafigeni is the place. So many things to do and see in the immediate area including Kruger National Park. Self drive or guided if it's you first time you will not be dissapointed. Thank you everyone at Mafigeni for a memorable stay.'

'We hadden twee grote (direct) aangrenzende kamers, beide met TV en luxe badkamers. Het ontbijt was ook heel goed. '

'Wij hebben hier 1 nacht geslapen op doorreis naar onze volgende bestemming. De eigenaresse Nana is zo ontzettend vriendelijk en lieve vrouw. Wij kregen de suite van haar en die was prima, echt Engels en ruime badkamer. Alles zeer veilig daar en ontbijt was super. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopt zeker.'

'There was a bath without a screen instead of a shower. A large dead cockroach in the bathroom. Lights outside the bedroom window that were not switched off. Naked, exposed wiring where the switch for the bedside lamp should be ( I could have electrocuted myself reaching for the switch at night!). Very noisy water pipes from 3am. The bed was clean and comfortable but the roach had spoiled it all.'

'The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. '
