'This beautiful home was large enough for our family and the kids really enjoyed the swing set and card games!!! Within 25 minutes of Living History Farm which was a hit for our family! A nice quiet location and wonderful, large screened porch for the whole family. Since the mosquitos were way too friendly. We enjoyed it!!!'

'We love staying at the Garst House whenever we’re in town to visit family. We love the interesting history of the place, and all the old furnishing. Everything is old, and yet, spotlessly clean. It’s like staying at Grandma’s house.'

'Beautiful property - better than advertised! Our stay was peaceful and quiet, and we loved the owners' access to the hiking trail right though their backyard. The place was spotless, with great water pressure and comfortable bed, and the kitchenette had what we needed so we could stay there and make all our meals. The owners were friendly and very quick to help when we asked a question, but also very much gave us our privacy for our quiet weekend.'

'It is nicer, bigger, and brighter than the pictures. It was one of the cleanest VRBOs I’ve stayed in. Thank you for being so clean. Lots of coffee pods and multiple bottles of water available for guests. Walking distance to the golf course restaurant. Only constructive feedback is to get better pillows; these pillows were too flat. Great place and would definitely stay here again. '

Even before our stay, they were great at communicating and answering all questions so quickly. We told them in advance that were in town for the IMCA Super Nationals and they really personalized our stay to make us comfortable. 'This is a spacious and beautiful home that is also warm and inviting. All six bedrooms are large and homey with bedding and blankets perfect for any weather. Mindy has thought of everything a guest might need. It was very clean and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and items needed to bathe plus handy extras! The kitchen was gorgeous! 'The house and location are wonderful. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. Bike trail is right next to the property and is easy to get to. We had a big buck visit us at five in the morning one day. The owner is great to work with and responded to our messages quickly.'
