'Pool was closed, we stayed 3 days and and despite repeatedly asking for maid service no one EVER came to clean our room or give new towels or toilet paper nothing. Garbage overflowing, Breakfast was inedible, the pancakes were raw and the omelettes were cold, we advised the staff and nothing was changed. We ended up having to go to breakfast each day an expense that we did not anticipate'

'Not a hotel I would recommend for a family or a female as it is mainly occupied by construction workers. The shower curtain was moldy, cracks in the shower, and beer bottles and cigarette butts/buckets on balconies. Area is a little sketchy.'

'During a hiccup getting in, the owner and rental managing company were very helpful rectifying the situation. The cottage was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked with kitchen and bath items. The boat slip and ramp were just a quick walk from the cottage. And the restaurant, Break on the Lake, which is next to the boat ramp, had delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would gladly rent it again.'

'It was great fishing but no electricity and Jug water you have carry to be able take shower. Composting toilet . Everything would be great if you could drive to cabin you have walk away . And you use a wagon bring your stuff to cabin. We left to go get something to eat it started raining. So we had walk back to cabin in rain . And the water runs across right where you have walk to go to cabin . We got our feet soaked as well as ourselves. It was really a pain having us a wagon when we bought ice...

'This was a beautiful home with a wonderful view. The host communication was excellent. The coffee station came prepped with Starbucks pods which was a very nice touch. Beds were comfortable. A few laundry pods & dish detergent pods were there to get you started which added to the comfort of the property. I would stay here again with my family of 6!'

'Wonderful, convenient location! Very new, very clean and very comfortable for our family! The host responded immediately when we had concerns or questions. Will definitely return for our next family reunion in the area….. but will have to beat everyone else to get it booked first!!'
