'What a great spot to stay in Clear Lake! Everything was perfect for our group of five couples who were in town for a concert at The Surf. We had plenty of space and the house was clean and very nicely done. We had everything we needed and the host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great spot for any group to stay. We will definitely stay again! Thank you! '

'We came to Clear Lake for a concert at the Surf. The house is very close! The host let me know about the farmer’s market in the parking lot of the Surf on Saturday mornings, so that was very convenient! The games were nice, there was a chair in the living room that we were all obsessed with, and there were a ton of extra blankets and pillows all around the house for lounging! It was a great little house and had more than enough space for our two couples. The host didn’t reach out after check-in...

'A nice place for us to stop on our way through town and for our first time in Clear Lake. Some lamps would be a nice addition, especially in the bedrooms. There are some tricky stairs that less sure-footed guests should be aware of.'

'I had business in town and my wife came with for the 4th. We do not have a boat but the access to the water by way of the dock was fantatic! She floatied around with the ducks for days. Property location was excellent right next to an ice cream shop. Everything we needed and more...deck..fire pit...lots of indoor space....just a nice property. Oh ...and owners were fantastically accommodating. Thanx!'

'Very walkable neighborhood, close to the beach and downtown, very clean and easy to move in.'

'We had a really nice time staying at Swordfish Dog Retreat. The house was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated. It is within walking distance to the downtown and the lake. The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. '

'Great location, only a couple of blocks from downtown!Beautiful home with just the right amount of old home charm and modern amenities! Owners were easy to deal with and offered suggestions of things to do while we were in town. We will definitely stay here again!'

'We came to the area from out of town to visit family. As a mother of several adult children, I wanted a relaxing atmosphere with a more homey feel than a hotel. The house is beautiful. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances. And the property was located in walking distance to downtown, shops as well as the beach and water front. Definitely want to come back. '

'We had the BEST time staying here! The location was perfect!! Just a few minutes walk to the beach, room for our ENTIRE family, games to play, enough space for privacy & cozy spaces for everyone to gather comfortably. The kitchen had everything you could need & with another kitchen space below we had more than enough room to prepare for our Grandmas 90th birthday celebration! Photos don’t do this home justice. 'The host was very responsive and helpful. We loved the shuffleboard and inside place. Only recommendation would be to get more outside furniture as that where we wanted to spend most our time and luckily we brought our own because there were only four. '

'This lovingly-updated home is an absolute gem! Steps from the lake and PM Park, the home combines the charm and nostalgia of grandma’s farm house with the modern conveniences of a newer home. The open kitchen and screened-in porch invites a family to gather for board games, meals and coffee in the morning. When I sent pictures of the home to a family member that couldn’t join us, she had a similar observation to ours: “right out of a storybook,” “so cozy, very ‘home-sweet-home’”. Highly...

'Great place for a girls weekend. Rained most of the time..but still a BLAST..'

'Check in was easy. Location was key for this stay! We came to town to see a concert at the Surf Ballroom. The place was clean and stocked with the basic needs for our stay. We were able to easily walk to the surf within 5 minutes. The place was on the cozy side, but there was only 3 of us, so it fit our needs. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. We would stay again!'

'Great little spot to explore Clear Lake from. Our hosts were excellent and timely at answering questions!Note--short or balance challenged people would have difficulty using the microwave. It's very high!. My 6' husband could do it, but it would have been dangerous for me (with my balance issues, and only 5'2".)But we loved our stay!'
