'The check-inn was unkind. We arrived very tired and when we got to bed we found a dead cockroach in the bathroom. We were too tired to dress again and put the dead animal aside. When leaving we showed the picture of the cockroach and complained about the cleaning. No sorries, no compensation and only two persons behind the desk discussing how the cockroach got into the room. Only to us “send the picture to us!”.We left disappointed and confused. Offical complaint will follow. Never back again...

'This facility was recently painted from the look of it, but a lot of little maintenance issues here and there. The breakfast buffet was pretty minimal. If you travel with pets, when booking it showed pets stay free, but on arrival they charged me a pet fee. It was only $5 per day, but I didn’t like the surprise at check-in. The room was decently clean. I’d still stay there again.'

'My stay at Avid was extremely disappointing, particularly when it came to housekeeping and room cleanliness. I was moved to three different rooms because the bedding was not clean. There was hair throughout the sheets on each bed, and one of the comforters had noticeable stains. By the time the issue continued into the evening, it was too late for me to reasonably look for another hotel, so I had to request fresh sheets and change the bedding myself. 'This is an average hotel. It's dated, but it was clean and the location was ideal for our visit. Breakfast was good and the size of the room was good for four adults.
