'This is the nicest rental I’ve ever stayed in! The beds are very comfortable. There are big cozy couches and cool smart toilets. The unit was thoughtfully stocked with coffee, plentiful spices and even some cold beverages. I would definitely stay here again. '

'The Sandy Beach studio apt was super cute, thoughtfully equipped, comfy, clean - we would stay there again! Our hosts were friendly, accessible & quick to respond. Highly recommend this beautiful space! '

' It’s just a few blocks from the University of Alaska Southeast, which is worth touring. There’s even a bus that will take you downtown with a stop a few hundred feet away. Be aware that it’s on the third floor. So you have to haul your stuff up stairs. The overlooks Aike Bay harbor.'

'This was a perfect place for my mother who comes to town to teach her classes for the UAS. It was a quiet and relaxing location for her. And very spacious for the grandkids to spend time and visit.'

'The place is clean and in a very convenient location. Everything within walking distance. The views from the room is awesome where you can see the mountains and the cruise ships come and go. The property owners are very attentive from the day we arrived and responded to any inquiries we had.'

'We really enjoyed this quiet green oasis in Mendenhall Valley. Our favorite part was being right next to the Brotherhood Bridge Trail -- you really do walk right over that tiny bridge in the picture, and are right on the trails. Our toddler loved exploring tiny paths through the woods, as well as the very quiet neighborhood playground that was only a minute's walk through the trees. We loved enjoying our coffee on the porch. 'Would have liked to have been there longer but arrived late In Juneau. Beautiful and clean with great washer/dryer and luxurious towels. Loved seeing a black bear walk down the driveway, Wish we could have successfully lowered the heat temperature; we could have saved you . '

Full disclosure; It is an older home the beautiful refurbish can’t eliminate some of those characteristics (closet doors that don’t close, bumps in the floor.. all very minor if you’re not a perfectionist) We would stay again without hesitation.'

'Shangri-La met our needs for a couple days in Juneau. The whole unit is very big. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is great, and I loved that it had a washer/dryer. The sitting area is just ok but it could use a chair. Also, it was not made clear in the amenities that it does not have a regular stove and oven. It has a double cooktop you need to get out of a drawer and a single burner cooktop. They do not heat up like a regular stove. They do have a pretty big toaster...
