'We had a fantastic stay at this property with our large family group. The house is incredibly well-equipped for a short-term rental — from a kitchen stocked for real cooking to more than enough towels and supplies to last our entire stay. At a time when so many vacation rentals are cutting corners on amenities, it was such a pleasant surprise to find everything we needed already here. 'Definitely one of our new favorite spots to stay when we come to Duck Creek! We even got to bring our dog for her first road trip. '

'This house is beautiful! We had 25 family members here and they all loved it. The kitchen had all the appliances and pots and pans as well as dishes for a large group. It is very secluded though, so bring all your groceries with you. The teenagers especially liked the theater and the hot tub. We had a photographer come on Saturday and the grounds around the house made for some beautiful pics of our family. I contacted our host a couple times with questions and he responded within a few minutes....

'House was clean, owner provided lots of information on the area. We arrived late in the day and really appreciated the nearby resort restaurant as we forgot to stop for food before we arrived at the house. Renters should be aware that food should be purchased on the way to the property. The owner pointed this out but we forgot.'

'We have stayed at several cabins in the Duck Creek area over the past 10-12 years, and this place was definitely one of, if not the best. There were plenty of rooms, and the layout was perfect. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom upstairs, which has an attached bathroom. Our older kids stayed on the main floor, and also had their own bathroom, and our teenage kids stayed in the basement in their own space and bathroom. The boys were super excited to play video games in the basement...

'Easy to check in and great cabin with comfortable living space. Definitely would stay again!'

'This was our second time staying at this cabin. We love the location and space in the yard. The cabin is cozy and kitchen has everything needed to cook meals. We love sitting on the raised deck to watch the deer come through the yard! Great stay, we will be back again.'

'The cabin is wonderfull. Its spacie, well equiped, a paradise in nature. In the morning my coffee on the deck with the squirrels and in the evening a bbq on the deck. Can recommend this cabin to everybody, its a jewel.'

'Check in process was a breeze and host communicated throughout the reservation process, during check in and check out. Place was easy to find and was perfect size for my family of 3 and our dog. Place was clean considering they do allow pets.'

'What a wonderful cabin with everything our family needed for a nice weekend getaway in the cooler temperatures. The grandkids especially loved the loft with the private sleeping pods. Such a unique amenity that they’ll surely remember. The beds were super comfy, wrap around porch with huge table was just perfect for our family dinners and the outdoor seating with fireplace was a wonderful back drop for our group photo. The cabin itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The only thing...

'We’re very selective where we lay our heads down to sleep and I’m so happy we chose this place to stay. It was very clean, organized and comfortable. The only down side is the upstairs gets warm so word of advice when you first arrive…turn on the fans and open ALL the windows. By night time it will be cool enough to sleep and by morning you will be freezing so keep the extra blanket near by. This is if you’re like us and like it cold…if you like it warm when sleeping, keep the windows closed....

"Booked this place a stop on a short road trip from Las Vegas. Arrived in the dark so couldn't see the surroundings. Which were stunning by the way. The house that was assigned to us was okay. Pretty expensive place, but you don't have many other options in the area. Didn't feel as tranquil as expected. There are quite a few houses on the property. The lady who checked us in was very nice, the one who checked us out had thin patience but still did what she had to do. Just didn't communicate very well. Also questioned our itinerary which came off a bit odd. Overall: fun farm vibe. Chickens and dogs everywhere. So that was fun. We went to dinner in the on-property restaurant. The food Was pretty good, and so was the service. A bit on the expensive side though. Especially since you have to ask for basic things like some bread or croutons to go with the soup. Also very strange: the Caesar salad was full of anjovis. Wasn't mentioned on the menu. Might be something to be checked with the dinner guests before serving. Not everyone is ok with fish. The house was pretty clean, but the bedding felt a bit dusty. Also a bummer that one thermostat temperature is controlled for the whole house. And not separate in the bedrooms. The only way to cool your own bedroom is to use the fan or keep a window open. The bathtub wasn't clean and the shower had a very hard pressure. It actually hurt to shower. So these things might be handled to make the experience a bit better. Overall okay."
