'Prima hotel, met nette grote kamers en airco. We hadden uitzicht op het heerlijke zwembad. Daar hebben we zowat zonder andere gasten gebruik van gemaakt. Het was erg rustig, zonde want het hotel is prima en het personeel super vriendelijk. Ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid.'

'Prima hotel om een of een aantal nachten te verblijven bij aankomst in of vertrek vanaf Costa Rica. Dicht bij het vliegveld gelegen. Kamers zijn schoon en hebben airco. Er is een prima zwembad aanwezig en een heel goed restaurant. Ontbijt wat in de regel standaard bij de kamer zit is prima. '

'The Hotel is OK, but the room had no proper windows, only wooden shutters. As a consequence, insulation was extremely poor and there was no way to get sunlight in without getting also air AND noise in the room. Breakfast was fine (not exceptionally good nor bad), but the dining room not particularly welcoming. In fact, the nicest space is the reception... '

'I have to say, first up, the bed was the best I have ever slept in. The mattess, pillows...just wonderful. The room was immaculate. We were upgraded to a deluxe room. It was beautifully furnished. Not your standard hotel room. You can see the fittings and the flooring were all chosen to reflect the elegance of this former stately home. The restaurant, bar and garden were beautiful. 'Een prachtig sfeervol oud gebouw vol met gangetjes en trappetjes. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en schoon. Prima voor een paar dagen San José. De locatie is een beetje er tussen in. Eigenlijk te ver van het vliegveld en ook net iets te ver om te lopen vanuit het centrum, maar als je een rustige plek in de stad zoekt en dat geen probleem is, is dit de perfecte locatie. Goed ontbijt, hartelijke ontvangst.'
