'Verblijf in Rancho de Lelo was een enorm hoogtepunt van onze reis naar Costa Rica. Wat onderscheidt zich vooral is de familie's gastvrijheid! De hutten zijn nieuw en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Comfortabel en schoon en een prachtig uitzicht. Het restaurant is ook uitstekend. Zo vers, eenvoudig en heerlijk en op bestelling gemaakt. Beatriz voorzag ons van goede tips voor activiteiten en restaurants en goede aanwijzingen. Ze zijn zo'n leuke en liefdevolle familie! '

'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...

'Staff were kind, honest, and super helpful. They always had a warm smile for us. When I accidentally left my bag, it was kept safe and returned. The trees near the beach are something truly special. Enjoyed the hammocks and tables on the beach. The food in the restaurant was absolutely excellent! While the rooms are a bit dated, they are the best in the area, and sufficient. '

'The hotel was great. Hotels.com however was a nightmare. Fun fact, book your hotels via the hotel’s direct website. Hotels.com and its subsidiaries (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.) take almost 80% of the profit of small local hotels. The hotel itself is fantastic and easy to work with, the conglomerate of hotels.com is not. You’re welcome '

'Older hotel, but lovely staff, gated parking, and right across the street from the beach. Has a restaurant, but didn’t eat there. Many dining options within walking distance. Would gladly stay here again! '

'Never again. We had to leave 2 days early and try to find another place on high season for my party of 8 because of over booking. The service was just terrible. To bad, because the area was great. Dont rent from this place.'

'This was an awesome property. I went with my spouse and adult children(17-22) and their friends. Total of 8 people. The house was very clean and open. The pool was exceptional. The sunsets on the beach were beautiful. The best part was the caretakers(Arturo and Maribel). Arturo was up early to get the pool and backyard set up for us to enjoy for the day.
