'Amazing hotel and staff! My every need was met and there was always a staff member close by who was willing to help. We arrived early and our rooms were not ready, they took our bags from us and allowed us to get ready in the change rooms. We went to our excursion and came back to find our luggage in our rooms! They even offered late check out for us! Ahmed is the best bartender ever! Made the best drinks and always had a smile on his face! Too many amazing staff to call out. I will miss Lux...

'Het verblijf is zeer netjes en proper, alles was naar behoren. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, te vriendelijk zelfs. Het lijkt alsof ze onder druk werken, ze zijn bang om iets verkeerds te doen. Het strand ziet er geweldig uit, maar echt zwemmen zal niet mogelijk zijn want het zit vol met zee-egels. Het voedsel was lekker en er was ook genoeg variatie. Al bij al hebben we veel genoten van ons verblijf. Voor iemand die naar Zanzibar wilt gaan is dit hotel zeker een aanrader.'

'Nice resort. Good food. Large rooms with nice showers and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Security around the property made me feel safe. Beach is nice when the tide is out. Lots of lounge chairs available. Workers all over the property cleaning, raking, trimming the trees/bushes. Very well maintained public spaces. '

'Erg mooi hotel, van alle gemakken voorzien. Alle voorzieningen van een resort maar toch persoonlijk en niet zo massaal. Aardige bediening die je op je wenken bedienen. Oase van rust. Lekkere cocktails met happy hours, mooi zwembad en goede kamers. Baskamer is echter wat klein als ik toch een nadeel moet noemen.'

'Fun resort with many different daily activities for families. Set on the fantastic east coast of Zanzibar, Diamonds Mapenzi gives you access to a beautiful beach with warm water and sports (additional charge). Food tasted good and staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Would stay here again '

'Very nice and peaceful resort. The jetty restaurant had nice food and hotel staff a very nice and accommodating. Moureen from reception is amazing. We hope to visit again soon '

'This is a lovely quiet each front hotel, we stepped from our door onto the sand. Roo.s are good and the staff were wonderful! We stayed in four hotels in zanzibar, the staff here are exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Hotel even supprised us with a free trip to the 'rock resaurant' and star fish beach! We would stay again in a heart beat...'

'Real personal vibe, because it’s a cozy little resort. Beautiful beach and sea does Kiwengwa have! And the dinners are a very good 4 course meal of your choosing between 2 options for each course. Also we think that the central location is perfect. Everything north and south of the island is reacheable in under 1 hour by car.'
