'Rustic log cabin in a scenic location. We stopped for one night en route to our destination and it was fine for our needs for that night.'

'A charming property with a historic main building, cosy communal areas and comfortable chalet-style rooms. The bed was very comfortable, and the included à la carte breakfast was delicious. The pub had a lovely atmosphere, although we didn’t get a chance to eat there. The hot water ran out fairly quickly, but overall we had a very pleasant stay and wished we could have stayed longer than one night.'

'My second visit the place was clean and is cleaned on a daily basis. Amazing views and trails for walks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Started our fire in the evenings. It’s family friendly and a good breakfast'

'Het is behoorlijk afgelegen - je moet zo'n 30 km. buiten de "bewoonde wereld" rijden om er te komen (en via dezelfde weg terug). De kamer (bungalow) was OK, maar was ook moeilijk bereikaar via een slecht grindpad. Voor alles moet apart betaald worden, dus niet echt een aanrader.'

The check-in process was fast and we were shown to our room with a very welcoming ambiance, a large bathroom, and a small outdoor terrace. WiFi was strong. The bathroom could...

'The rooms are okay and they are perfect for the price. However, the host did not tell us we would be sharing the house with other guests abs this caused a startle with those we found in the house already. The gyser was not working and this was on a 9degree Celsius weather where we had to take a night and morning cold shower. Supper was a disaster: upon arriving at 7pm, we were told there’s no food as they had hosted a group of people earlier and couldn’t cater for us. We managed to get...
