'Amazing history, everywhere you walk. Smelt good despite everything being old so appreciated! Not really established as a hotel though more a monastery maybe. Place was cold. Had to ask for fireplace to be made up. No heating anywhere else in the hotel. No ambiance, dead quiet everywhere. One friendly receptionist / manager, everyone else seemed impossible to get hold of. Food arrived cold, which given the place was cold I guess it wad standard. Some of the food on the menu that they did have,...

'Hotel is small, rooms are very small lacking window in most rooms, but very clean. front desk was somewhat attentive. rooms lack coffee employees are lacking training and common sense and their duties. food takes time, be ready to wait.'

'I arrived at the hotel and the staff could not find my reservation. The staff also claimed hotel does not accept pre-paid reservations as a matter of policy and hence I would have to pay them in cash as they also did not have any way to receive payment by credit card. Since I had insufficient cash on me anyway, I refused to pay twice for what was already way overpriced accommodations in Latacunga, Ecuador. '

'Het hotel verraste ons in positieve zin. Het was nieuw en alles was schoon en modern. Service was goed. Op zondag was er een ontbijtbuffet en op maandag werd er een vers ontbijt voor ons bereid. Dit was heerlijk en beter dan het buffet.'

' We enjoyed our one night stay and would love to come back! It is walking distance tona huge market, stores, vendors and restaurants. The coffee was wonderful, as was the breakfast. The staff was extremely courtious as well. One unique feature is that it is the only hotel in the world made entirely out of pumice (volcanic rock)'

'Secure parking, clean and comfortable rooms, well located to walk Latacunga, friendly and helpful staff. Only downside (minor) was that the room was over the street, which could be a little noisy at times.'
