'The property manager was very friendly. Checkin was easy The workers at the Lake store/Park Office were all friendly & knowledgeable of area. The employees at the swimming pool were attentive & very friendly & we enjoyed very much. There was a basketball, pickle ball/tennis court, putt-putt golf. Cabin was clean, pots, pans, utensils, towels all furnished. The mattresses were comfortable. There was a great view of the lake.Afishing peer just 50 feet away, and the boat launch area. 'Location was good and the view of the lake was beautiful. Owners supplied everything but food for a weekend getaway. Great basement area for teenagers! Our grandchildren enjoyed the lake and paddle boards available for our use. The beds were very comfortable and that’s hard to find in rentals. We will be back. '

'I fished from the balcony that was awesome, we rented a Pontoon boat at S4 boat rental and we drove it up to the property which has a Dock that was a nice bonus, overall a great stay. '

'Adorable place, just the right size for a few people. Easy access to the water, loved being able to put the boat in and keep at the dock, and the use of the water accessories was so nice. We hope to come back! '

'Cozy cabin, close to the water with easy access, dollar general close by and a gas station that has good breakfast selections. Brought our own kayaks but there were kayaks there to use also! '

'Emerald Escape is a beautifully decorated and comfortable home. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The communication from the owner was top notch. The view was so beautiful and peaceful! It is a great place to get away and enjoy Smith Lake. '
