'Fabulous cabin on the river! Awesome nature views and sunsets were amazing. Whole front of house including the master bedroom is all windows for breathtaking views. Relaxing, peaceful, hot dogs and s'mores by the campfire along the lake....can't beat it!'

'Well maintained; Owner was responsive when we had questions. When the coffee maker didn't work, a new one was delivered the same day! Very convienient to Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock and Matthiessen State Parks. Enjoyed the fire pit out back in the private yard.'

'We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house was clean and well stocked, there were even amenities for our pups like bowls, pick up bags, treats and toys! It's so hard to find a property that takes larger dogs, but this was not a problem here. The fenced yard was perfect for late night let outs and running around. The location is perfect for accessing Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks with a very useful write up of different hikes at Starved Rock provided in our welcome materials....
