'We have had a appartment in the basement with no view. The WiFi was bad and also 4g was bad. The pool was very good. Also de reception was good. Location perfect with across the road the sea and shops and restaurants on walking distance.'

'Amazing stay at this beautifully designed and located place. We really enjoyed chilling at the pool, the usage of the fully equipped kitchen to make some food and hang out in front of the tv on a rainy evening. Thanks to Kahn for the great hospitality, we will be back!'

'Parking is shocking around Byron Bay, The Shire is greedy and tourists will stop coming when you have a $5 per hour parking policy - so you get a coffee for $3.50 and pay $10 parking!! Ridiculous!! So you have lost me Byron Bay. Problem is, you can’t even park in the street to check in (maybe they should have a private spot) Parking at hotel is excellent once you have checked in, at the hotel car park I feel sorry for any business in Byron Bay as in my opinion, the Shire will close them up...

'Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. '

'The apartment is amazing. Very modern and large. Very close to the beach. There were two things that could be improved: 1) check in instructions should be provided beforehand. We arrived after reception office hours and freaked out a bit as it's closed. Called the local numbers but went to answering machine. I saw there was a mobile number and I called there. Good thing it was picked up and advised where the keys was. They could've advised me beforehand how to get the keys in advance. 2) we...

'Had a ground floor unit. Yes it's an old building with a basic kitchen but the location is amazing. Fresh clean and comfy. Quiet enough to hear the ocean. Comfy beds and lovely pillows. Our 2br unit exceeded our expectations.'
