'We didn't get the room we ordered (and paid for). The unfortunately very meager confirmation from Expedia, which did not list the room type, was not helpful either. There was a hole where the minibar with refrigerator was supposed to be. Hot water only came when asked one day and not at all the next. 'We were located in an appartement. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Note that the cottages are a bit smaller and older. The garden is large, however could be further developed to create a more intimate setting. The dinning room is ok, although sometimes a bit damp. We preferred to sit outside (nice temperaturs during early November). Areas of improvement are the wifi (not always a good connection) and creating the possibility to pay with euro's as according to one of the...

'Our original plans outsidr Lumbini were thwarted and Hotels.com kindly changed us to this Perfect location right beside Buddha’s birthplace. The restaurant and staff were a highlight, the lodgings lovely and the surroundings delightful. Highly recommended!'
