'If you don't have money to waste, Huntley Lodge is your place to stay at Big Sky, Montana. It is close to the slopes (in fact, almost on the slopes) the rooms are clean and big and the staff is friendly (to a point you wonder if they are on some kind of drugs). The breakfast is exstensive, but everybody needs to be escorted to their table, so there is always a long waiting line. The hotel has some more issues: the walls and ceilings are super thin, so if your neighbour farts, you will hear it....

'This is very extraordinary. We visited Nevada City and decided to stay in a cabin of this hotel that is located in Virginia City - but the cabins are right next to the old museums town of Nevada City. So, you drive one mile back and get an authentic cabin of the settlers (but with modern elements like power, AC, hot water, etc). We travelled with young teens and they thought we making a joke but the liked it as well. For dinner, it is just a mile to Virginia City, for breakfast you have a great...
