'When we arrived we were assigned a room on the second floor. We rode up the elevator, and noticed that the room roughly above the lobby seemed to be having issues as the staff entered it with a mop bucket. When we entered our assigned room there was a very strong odor. It smelled like the antibiotic amoxicillin, but also stagnant wet air. We went back down, and were moved without any issues to a nice room that was clean on the 4th floor. The only other this was water was pouring down the light...

'Bathroom needs redone. Peeling, cracked paint. Carpet can be replaced.'

'Maybe not the newest motel, but the nicest I slept in so far during the trip. The manager was really nice and recommended a good place to eat. Oh and don’t forget the big fluffy cat at checkin either. I love the old motels and this one ranks up there. '
