'We stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends, and it was the perfect getaway. The property has everything you’d want to enjoy both relaxation and adventure: hammocks, a hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and more. It’s an ideal spot to soak in nature during the day and hang out together in the evenings.The cabin itself is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with all the modern amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. 'We stayed here last August and we had a blast. The view is awesome, the oysters were fab. The house is small but was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Just perfect. Highly recommend the Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, few miles up north. We hope to visit again!'

'Super charming! There were a couple questions we had and then a suggestion or two. Chelsea was very responsive. Both quickly and kind. Checking in was easy.The house is very charming and unique as well as the lovely community. We enjoyed kayaking in the peaceful area as well as sitting by the beach for a peaceful read.'

'My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...

'Cute little cabin, with everything you need for a few nights. Quick walk to lake, with dock. Kids had a great time on the lake in kayaks and paddleboards. Great for fishing bass. The restaurant was not open while we were there, so can't comment on the food. We made all our meals.'

'Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive...

'We have stayed at several properties on the hood canal and all agree that this is the one we will return to. The home is vibrantly decorated, accentuating the endless views through the doors and windows, well appointed with everything we needed, and spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and a small dog. We spent our days outside, watching the seals and fisherman, harvesting and grilling oysters, and kayaking. The proximity to town was a big bonus. Yes, as some have noted, there is road...

'We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Like some other guests mentioned, having Wi-Fi or a few board games available would be a nice touch for the quiet moments. A new set of skillets in the kitchen would also be a much-appreciated upgrade. Overall, a great stay with just a few small suggestions to make it even better.'

'Our family of ten had a wonderful time!! The home is very beautiful, clean, and well maintained. But the best part is the view, the access to the water, walks up and down the beautiful lane, plenty of blackberries to pick, and the glimpses of different wildlife! '

'It was awesome. Secluded yet not too far from town and my son who lives in Shelton. It was great to take a walk to the shore which was an adventure walk with blackberries and sweetpeas. The high tide and low tides were an adventure especially as it was full moon. The surprise on the last few days was the view of Mt. Rainer. Thank you Robert for a great place to stay will be telling friends about it'

'This property is absolutely amazing. The view of Lake Cushman, the quiet, the lake access. All of it is top tier. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). That being said, this property has literally anything you need. We took advantage of the toaster oven, gas oven & range, the blackstone grill, washer/dryer, literally all of it. The showers were great...

'Perfect for our family get-away. The proximity and access to private parks made the days fun. For dinner, we used their outdoor grill and Blackstone griddle instead of the kitchen stove and loved it. We all fit around the large table for the meals. And there was an area to play card and board games, which were provided.Thank you'
