'Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough.'

'Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.'

'Wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms, ours also had a balcony. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, there are Sri Lankan and Western options, all very tasty. The pool is delightful, the views from the cafe are great.'

'as amazing as siguriya itself is, and it is, the staff at king's resort were the highlight. nothing was too much trouble, true professional hospitality, it was great. we were there for our 20th wedding anniversary and they made it special. sri lanka is amazing. truely. did i mention the plunge pool? you'll prob want to get that. the big pool is brilliant but the plunge pool, for us, was really special'

'Very friendly, personal. has a lot of knowledge of the nature of the area. Very relaxing atmosphere. There are several hangmats and relaxing rooms. Hardly any ‘people sounds’ only nature sounds. A great place to remember !'

'We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff was so sweet and they were so helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had very big portions (a mix between local and western). They were quick to help us with umbrellas, and lights, and to organize travel/tours. '
