'Almost everything in Beech Mountain is overpriced, but not this pleasant, older hotel. Yes, it is a bit dated and could use a little spiffing up, but our suite was roomy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The central location cannot be beat. The staff was friendly and attentive and responded promptly to minor problems. '

'I will start with my only negative on this home. The driveway is very small. We had our Ram truck and it fit under the covered parking area. But a bigger vehicle might not fit. That's it. Everything else was so good. The house had multiple reminder notes around it. Which I find very helpful. The kids and I loved every well placed detail. The toy closet was a huge hit. We're hoping to book this home again in the future. '

'Despite the lake being empty, we enjoyed our stay in the house. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We will have to come back when the lake is full!'

'I loved this place. Wake up to the sound of bird song and the scent of fresh unpolluted air. The unit has everything you need (dishes, coffee maker). There’s a soaker tub w jets that is relaxing but can’t be bathed in (no shampoo/soap is allowed in the tub). Locationwise, you can walk to restaurants and University, but it took me 22 minutes to get where I needed to go, not 10 minutes as advertised, so make sure you get those details before you book. '

'Excellent property!! You can tell the owner put in a lot of time and effort into making it the most unique and beautiful home in the area. So much fun and perfect for a girls trip. Owner is easily accessible and there to answer any questions/ concerns you have. Would definitely stay again! '

'We had a great stay. This little house is so cute and walking distance to a lot. We were there for July 4th and had a lot of fun at the block party and mills river brewing’s party for the 4th. We were bummed Sierra Nevada was closed on the 4th, we really wanted to check it out.'

'This property was beautiful. The perfect blend of antiquity and the "needs" of modern times. The host thought of everything that guests may need. This room is located not far from downtown Asheville and is a quick, easy commute . Communication with the host was clear and quick. '
