'We loved this property. The location is beautiful and there was plenty of room for our group of 9. We all enjoyed the private pool and jacuzzi, especially on rainy days. The kids had a great time going to New Zoo, Title Town and Bay Beach, as well. Drinking coffee while watching the river and wildlife each morning was wonderful. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for privacy, relaxation and family fun. The host, Ava, is awesome and responds to questions very quickly.'

'It was a quiet and relaxing place. Birds were migrating, the first weekend in April. It was a little muddy, so bring your mud boots, binoculars and field book is required.'

'The house and property are so beautiful. It is a slice of heaven and wonderful break from the city. We had 4 elementary school kids and they loved it as well. The house is very nice and the kitchen is very well stocked. I would love to come back.'

'We had a great holiday weekend. Cabin was great and right on the water. We rented a pontoon and we were able to dock it right outside the cabin. We also brought our side by side and rode trails which are right off the driveway. Overall a great place. Driveway is a little steep and narrow if you have a large boat or trailer, but there is plenty of room to turn around and park down by the house.'

'The retreat was exactly as pictured and as described. It was incredibly cleaned and stocked with any and everything that we needed, that we may have forgotten, including a first aid kit. The extra surprise was the plunger in the bathroom, which gave us a great laugh. Loved it and would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was relaxing and peaceful and that’s exactly what we needed.'

'We had the most perfect time. Literally the best rental of our lives. The space was clean and full of everything we could want the river was amazing. The owners checked in and were above and beyond helpful without being overbearing. Already looking forward to going again.'

'My husband and I were looking for a secluded place on water with canoeing, fishing and walking distance to a bar/restaurant. This was perfect! The water was not for swimming but the cabin came stocked with a kayak, canoe, row boat and a paddle boat. The main house was perfect for what we needed - bed to sleep, deck to sit on with our coffee and fully stocked with kitchen, bedding needs. We did not spend much time in the 2nd house (green building) because we didn’t need the space. We did use the...

'Needed a shut down after move and all that involves. Just what the doctor ordered. Be sure and stop at Heartbreakers for dinner. The cabin and the surrounding area was all we needed.'

'Great locations beautiful property'

'The Berry Lake cottage was conveniently located for our golf weekend. We were disappointed in the cottage. Many nailholes in walls. The lawn was unmowed. No hangers in closets. The beds were uncomfortably firm. ( I know this is personal preference but mattress quality is important to us.)We ended up sleeping on the couch. Correspondence was slow. The security deposit was taken at time of booking which was 2 months prior. Nice pier to the lake. Close to Primal Meats....'

'Perfect retreat able to bring our dogs who loved the screened in porch, great contact with host and everyone in the area is super friendly. Would recommend if looking for a modern and clean place to stay.'

'My husband I and our dog had a wonderful weekend. It was very clean and had everything we needed. They even thought to have coloring books, crayons, crossword puzzles and other items for crafts. It was secluded because it's tucked away (which is exactly what we wanted) but close to the town in case you need anything. We'll be back again!'
