'We had an amazing time! I celebrated my birthday weekend here and all the amenities and the location made it so special! It’s so close to the attractions and the town itself is beautiful! The cabin is so nicely maintained and so clean! The firewood, the snacks, coffee/tea are lovely touches! Highly recommended!'

'So the listing said house number 26 but it's really 25. So we circled the block a few times. Then the key was not in the key safe. Called the owner who apologized profusely. Had to wait a half hour for the key. Not ideal. Otherwise ok. '

'This is a beautiful log cabin nestled in the woods at the end of a dead-end road. The hosts have literally thought of everything needed for a restful vacation. There’s a fire pit and pizza oven outside and plenty of games (including air hockey) inside. It is close to all of the shops, museums and beaches in the area. '

'We loved staying at this property! It was cute, clean and came stocked with snack foods, shampoo, conditioner and many other things you may have forgot! Raj and his family were lovely! The beach is close but I would not recommend walking to it, as it is off a busy road with no side walks. The beach Raj sent us to was lovely and private. Please be careful when going, as only a small portion is for the public and the owners of the private portion will let you know if you are on their property....

'Beautiful property! View was awesome, nice beach with chairs. The room could use some updating, stove top was broken so our morning coffee was delayed as the burner was very slow to heat the water for our French press we travel with. The view from our room was peaceful however the barbecue area was in direct view and there was always garbage piled up and was not pleasant to see. Overall great stay! '

'The listing states a 1 bedroom, don’t be confused thinking there is a room with a door and then another room, as it’s just a single room with a bed. There was one gentleman that was very blunt and rude with his words. I unfortunately dealt with him prior to my visit, via phone, and once I got there. 'The real draw for us was the proximity to Foxwoods and the fenced in yard for my son to run and play. We were pleased to find the house just as described: a bit rustic but charming and with plenty of space for us to spread out. The hosts were communicative and helpful. 'This was our 3rd stay at the Ice House at White Fate Farm. As always, the rustic Ice House cabin was cozy, peaceful, and a comfortable summer getaway from the city. The little kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. The foldout bed in the livingroom was comfortable enough for my teen son, while the bedroom in the loft is very comfy. 'My wife and I stayed here to celebrate her birthday and it was perfect! The owners thought of everything!! The house was clean, had a great view, a comfortable bed and LOTS of little things to make our visit special. The pool and hot tub were amazing! We will definitely be back!'

'Our occasional get together of old college friends was perfectly suited to this location - ample bedrooms / bathrooms, large kitchen, dining and living room. 'Great stay. Clean, all amenities provided, located short walk from beach. I wouldn’t call it an apartment or studio, though. It’s the size of a bedroom and includes only a bed, dresser, fridge and microwave. Not even a chair. Description made me expect a bit more but if you know the size going in, it’s a marvelous place to stay. '
