'I was overwhelmed with the nice big appartment, especially considering the price. But the hotel lacked in a few details; the internet in the rooms didn't work well, and they were sort of unhelpful when I asked if I could shower and change clothes in the pool area at 6 PM as I had a late flight out of Colombo they said it was impossible as I was not allowed in the building after check out time. This sort of strict/burocratic reasoning means they loose a few points. Also the area around the hotel...

'My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. Not many restaurants nearby, but one that is an 8 minute walk. I chose to eat there several times (named "Coffee Boss"). Great selection of cafe drinks and a great menu of food. ...

'Our recent stay at this peaceful oasis in Colombo was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by the incredible staff - especially Samantha, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The serene ambiance, coupled with a beautifully maintained pool, made for the perfect escape from the city's hustle. Whether it was lounging by the water or indulging in the delicious food, every moment felt like a refreshing retreat....

'Ik vond de staf vrienden en behulp zaam. Apartement was schoon en schone handoeken elke dag en werd ook schoongemaakt.en ruim.Was machine om je kleren te wassen. Apartment was dichtbij van de stad (stad). Minder 1 kamer had niet altijd warm water.'

'The property is a great place to stay as a family and the interior of the unit is awesome. Only issue I found was the shower was clogged and it has been like that for the whole stay although notified. The interior materials were high quality with a great view of the city. The bedding could have been cleaned but they rectified as soon as noticed. The caveat of this building is the parking. If you are driving reconsider just based on my experience. '

'Nous étions seules dans l'hôtel en saison basse. Les hotes etaient tres disponibles et prevenants. La piscine est un vrai plus. Le petit dej est tres complet et bon.Les chambres sont bien equipées. Parfait pour se reposer apres une nuit en avion. '

'Old villa in heart of Colombo , tastefully renovated , quiet and clean . Very comfortable bed , clean kitchen and good food . Mr Asangha Perera and his team at the admin desk were very capable and attentive . He was in touch with us few days before our arrival , and since we were arriving late , took an order and made sure our dinner was delivered on our arrival . '

'AWESOME stay - so great we decided to stay an extra night. Kasun is amazing and put us in touch with people that helped us plan our 3 week stay in Sri Lnaka. Extremely spacious apartment for a low price. Even included a washer inside the apartment which was really nice to do laundry. Close to the airport and not a far walk from restaurants. Nice park neaby with volleyball courts, track and more sports with locals nearby. Will definitely stay again before departing from Sri Lanka! '

'Deva the caretaker made the difference. He was fantastic. A very caring man. The owner Dinesh and his wife very responsive and we felt so comfortable going forth our chosen residence in Colombo. We have stayed at the Hilton, Cinnamon Grand, Kingsbury , Cinnamon Lake etc. but this is the place to stay. 10/10'

'Had a great 2 night stay at this apartment. Inside Havelock was nice and peaceful, also a convenient location within colombo for us. Basic amenities were available but we had planCheckin and checkout were smooth. '

'The caretaker, Mr. Jey was fabulous. The house was very clean. All facilities were as described on the website. The Homeowner was very easily accessible and prompt to reply to all queries. We enjoyed the stay.'

'Had stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks with my Family. The apartment was fully furnished with all appliance & very well maintained in a quiet locality. Best part it had a supermarket & laundry service in house. Would Highly recommend for future visits. The host was very cooperative too. Yusuf, Mumbai (India)'
