'Property was exactly as described, online photos where accurate, kitchen(s) were ideal for prepping meals for our family and friends, and living room/common spaces were ample in size for everyone (16 house guests), plus 25 college students that came to eat, socialize during the day, and play the multiple outdoor game equipment we rented from our graduate’s school. '

'25 minutes from Blacksburg has everything you need for a great weekend get away for a football game, hiking and sightseeing! Mountain top views that allow you to see the Milky Way on a clear night with no noise from neighbors. This is a brand new, completely renovated property, very clean and the owner is extremely friendly and very easy to communicate with! '

'Came in to paddle a few sections of the New River. John’s place is perfect for a short or even longer stay. He literally thinks of everything. The land itself is like a mountain paradise-a gentle, quiet place to rest your bones after a day of fun. '

'Overall this was a great place to stay. We had 5 adults and a toddler and were comfortable. We brought our Cavachon and he did well too! Host was very responsive and great with work with. Only drawbacks, floors were a little dirty. If there was a regular mop, I would have cleaned the floors! Ants around the sink, and strong odor from someone’s previous pet visit. All manageable and I’d stay there again! '

'This is by fair one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Place is clean and everything is there that you need to just relax and enjoy your time. Beds are comfortable, plenty of space for 5 people to enjoy with room to spare. We will definitely be back! Property manager was also so friendly and helpful. Location so beautiful that pictures do not do it justice.'

'We loved this house, so much character. The owner was so sweet and helpful. We cooked and ate our meals here (you can even do a grocery pickup at the Kroger which is not far away). We loved listening to the river, and truly just enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!'

'Home was good, central location for a 4 day exploration of this part of WV. Got some quirks, but comfortable.....One caution is that parking is extremely difficult for a full size pick up truck (F150). Backing in is only choice, and even then a huge stump is in play. Basically left F150 parked all weekend, as you can't get it out with another car in driveway ...other car was Ridgeline compact pickup.Watch your head if you are tall. Cracked head into wall over washer/dryer, entry light,...
