'We spent two nights at the lodge after spending time in whitefish, Waterton Canada and Glacier National Park. It is a beautiful facility and we had a very large king room, fireplace, sink and refridge. It was very rainy and cold so the restaurant, lounge etc were pretty crowded. But service was good and food was tasty. Shuttles run hourly into town and airport shuttles are available.
BUT. We had some maintenance issues with the toilet. We were told maintenance would come right away 4 times...

'Overall this hotel is not what you would expect from a Fairmont Resort.
Being in Montana you would expect a steakhouse restaurant to be able to cook a steak to order. Unfortunately, med rare comes as medium well to well done. Then when they try to fix it comes out blue rare to rare. When you are paying $300+ for dinner, I expect better quality and customer service support when things don’t go as they should.
If you are wanting to use the simulators, they close them early, or say they aren’t...

'Very nice staff. Hotel is right outside the park and has plenty dinner options walking distance. Breakfast changes every day a bit so good for 3 to 4 nights for sure. '

'For a hotel charging nearly $500 a night, the service and cleanliness were very disappointing.
There was trash in the hallways, and maid service was only provided every other day. The hallways did not appear to be vacuumed or cleaned regularly. It was also a cold weekend, and we asked for an extra blanket for my grandson but never received one.
