'Perfect from the moment we touched down at Hoedspruit airport . Waiting for us was Sandy who collected our luggage and whisked us off through the wildlife ( giraffes and warthogs meandering around the roads) and straight to Elandela where we we received a very warm welcome from Francisco and Sindy. We were shown around the spotlessly clean facilities , greeted by the staff and taken to our beautiful lodge facing the lake. 'Heaven on earth. Wonderful place, great staff. Feels like you are a V.I.P. Cheff cook should get nobelprice for cooking. Dont have enough words to discribe this heaven. Loved every minute. Stayed 6 nights and was still to short stay. Dont go for 1 night! Just book while week or you're gonna regret it. All kind of activities to do, like game drives (unembeza organize them) bicycletours on the wild estate, boattours, panorama route etc. Rate 10 out of 10.'

'Was de tegenvaller van de reis. Kleine kamers, geen kast op iets in te hangen. De minste lodge die we in 20 jaar in Zuid-Afrika in de Greater Kruger Aera hebben bezocht. Ook zeer slechte aanduiding naar de lodge. Voor ons een éénmalig bezoek. '

'Na Hoedspruit flink doorrijden om Moditlo Lodge te bereiken. Dan nog een kwartiertje rijden op eigen terrein voordat je gastvrij ontvangen wordt. De twee gamedrives vinden niet in het Krugerpark plaats, maar op eigen terrein. In het Krugerpark dient iedereen zich op de (asfalt) wegen te blijven. Hier ging de driver dwars door, langs en over struiken heen om midden tussen een kudde olifanten uit te komen! De braai s'avonds was bijzonder! We zaten ieder in een privé schoolbankje (met lessenaar)...
