'A very nice Lake House! Located on a peaceful section of the lake, very nicely landscaped and maintained. The online pictures were spot on, no surprises. Easy Lake access and having the boathouse available was great. Pool was a lot of fun. Overall, a great vacation spot. Can’t wait to go back'

'Great stay overall. Except one little hiccup with the code to the keypad. We tried contacting the host but it was very late and she didn’t get back to us until the morning. There should be an emergency number in the future just in case. We will definitely stay again. '

'Absolutely loved Camp Runamuck for celebrating my mom's retirement and 60th birthday! There is more than enough space for 3 families to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened-in patio and boat dock. We brought a boat with us, and there are 2 TVA boat docks nearby and plenty of room to tie it the house. Janet left a thoughtful note and some cookies for us upon arrival. Cozy spot if you need a family weekend at the lake! '

'The cabin was perfect for a pair of bass fishermen. Close to downtown Guntersville, easy access to boat ramps, and space for your boat with power hookup. There’s room to hangout inside, on the covered porch, or around the fire pit. Mary was awesome. '

'We will always remember our trip to Smith Lake with our children and their fiancés. We were able to use the charcoal grill for several of our meals. We all enjoyed a trip in the canoe , some flipped over on purpose. The house was well supplied with extra's. There is plenty of seating outside the home for some relaxation. As a therapist, I was happy to see a ramp from the parking spot around the home to get into the cabin for some people that have trouble navigating steps. Beautiful...

'This is our second stay at this location. We love the waterfront location and especially the kayaks! Safe quiet place. Worked great for us as only 10 mins or less to Albertville's Sand Mountain baseball complex which was the purpose of our stay in the area.'

'Our family just recently visited the Secret Slough. It was the secluded retreat that we hoped it would be. Very, very private! 'Very enjoyable stay on Smith Lake (Sipsey River)We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Whitt’s end! There was plenty of room and excellent communication with the property owner. The property was as advertised with some general wear and tear on the house. It was quiet even with other properties nearby. The house was very comfortable for our group of 11.
