'What a wonderful find! For a little city, Council Grove punches well above its weight class – so many historic sites to visit and happenings to attend, and this one-bedroom loft puts you in the heart of it all! It has everything a modern traveler would need. I found the bed quite comfortable, with lovely pillows – unlike the rough and barely serviceable ones at some hotels. 'Overall, it was good to have a roof over our heads for the night. No complaints there. The original location in Eskridge ended up being booked for the evening, resulting in a late check in time. I received communication a day before our stay providing another location to stay at. The lakehouse was decent, providing all accommodations necessary. One hide-a-bed, a full size and a twin bed, the latter being quite uncomfortable. A slightly dirty toilet is my only complaint about the cleanliness. '

'The house was just as described. It was clean and decorated very nicely. We felt very much at home. It was great having the park right across the street. It's really nice that older kids can play at the park, and you can watch them while you relax on the front porch. It would be nice if the City of Emporia would put up "Kids at Play" and "Speed Limit" signs around the park. We would definitely stay again!'
