De reuzachtige cruiseschepen meren wel aan voor het hotel en belemmeren zo het prachtige uitzicht. Zeer jammer, want je betaalt extra voor een kamer met zicht ... op een cruise-reus ..."

"Everything is perfect, the view from the room is beautiful and the restaurant is excellent. Even when dining on your own you are made to feel welcome and important. One minor point: breakfast starts quite late so if you have an early morning flight, you may miss it or have to rush."

"Very good hotel with friendly staff and compared to other hotels reasonably priced! We had an accesible room which was very roomy. The free dinner during the week was discontinued for summer break which was a pity. There were dining options in walking distance where you got 10% off food. Breakfast was very extensive but if you came a little later, not all options were still available. Cleanliness was good except the floor of the breakfast room which was sticky all of the 3 days we stayed there. Room was made up every day without having to ask, which was nice."

"Scandic Hotel Kristiansund is a good standard hotel as you might expect from Scandic. Good and helpful staff that really let you feel welcome. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room and it was very warm in Kristiansund. Therefore the nights at the hotel was not as pleasant as we would expect. The staff tried to be helpful to provide fans to make it more pleasant. Breakfast in the morning made up for the uncomfortable situation during the night. "

"We liked the scenery around the hotel. But we thought it was too expensive compared to the size of the room and we very disappointed about the bicycles! The use of them was the main reason for us to book this hotel. But they were in bad shape and not suitable for us at all! Also there was no knowledge (and help) about this facility at the reception..."
