'This is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature. The rooms are magnificent, with a balcony overlooking the grounds and lake. The large bed was very comfortable and the staff efficient and friendly. The chef is amazing! Try the Goan fish curry. '

'There is no kids play area and golf course. The listing gives a wrong notion that it has a golf course. Also, unlike all other 5 star hotels they will provide only khichdi as complementary kids meal, they expect kids to eat khichdi as all meals in the stay!'

'Stayed at the Serai Kabini for just one night but truly enjoyed every minute. Beautiful resort with fantastic, landscaped gardens. Joined both the afternoon as well as the early morning boat safari. As predicted by the ranger, the afternoon safari was fantastic with many elephant sightings. The early morning safari, even though it was beautiful on the river, was less successful in terms of seeing animals. I would recommend to join the afternoon (boat) safari for your best chance to see wild...

'Clean and well maintained property. Staff's were helpful and nice. Breakfast was very good. Property is next to train track, doesnt seem like a track that has super heavy train traffic. But still will have a train pass here and there at night. If the hotel is hosting a party on weekends it does get very loud until 10:30pm.'

But from the time we arrived until the time we checked out, we could say that the reviews were totally wrong. We were looked after with genuine warmth, care, and friendliness that made our stay truly amazing. The food was a set menu, which worked out great for us. It was homely and delicious. 'We checked in the room. Staff were not helped our take our luggages to our room. The bath room was very bad with water leakage from ceiling, water accumulating on the bath room floor. I complaint for this then they change to another room. Another room entrance without light again complaint then theu chsnge tje bulb. Bath room pipes having only hot water then complaint the staff came and repaired after only cold water was available. The total stay was horrible. The room was with old furniture's. '
