'Very nice hotel the only issue we had was the room had a really bad smell. We stayed in a nonsmoking room and it smelled like weed a lot. Went to the reception and asked to be moved to a different room but everything was booked. The girl at the reception was really nice she even looked to move us to a different hotel around us but everything was booked. They gave us something to sprayed in the room to help with the smell. Other than that nice hotel I will stay here again'

'This was our third stay in one of the cabins on the property. Well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Great groomed walking trail all around the pond, perfect to exercise our dogs and stretch our legs after a long drive. Tons of bird activity for those interested in a bit of bird watching. We will be back!'

'We have stayed here several times as it is close to family, no frills, just a good place to stay. I t is updated and gets better every time. Price is right and staff is great! Cant go wrong....and just off the highway...This place was so much cleaner than other top notch places we have staed at.'

'After making a reservation about two weeks in advance, we get there late in the evening to find out they do not have a room available that we reserved. Then, we reluctantly agreed to another room and the smoke smell was so strong. We went to the desk to ask for another room and were told they did not have any other rooms. We had to go to another establishment and find a room. Don’t waste your time. '

'McKinley Manor was an excellent place to stay for my family during our time in Rensselaer, the location was just perfect. It had enough big comfy beds for all of us. The house itself was absolutely beautiful inside, keeping the original woodwork and layout of the house was fantastic but adding the modern touches such as in the kitchen and the bathroom were perfect.
