'Fantastic vacation spot for families and kids! We travelled with our friends and our young children (all under 5) and it was the perfect spot. Grassy areas, sandy beach, private lake access and the pool just steps away from your patio door. The perfect family vacation!'

'Our family throughly enjoyed our stay at the Krop cottage. It was a perfect property for our family and our one dog. The lake view from the balcony was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked well with kitchen appliances, cutlery, including kid’s plates and utensils. Communication with Darren was smooth and simple. We loved how short of a walk it was to the beach. It’s an ideal location if you’re looking place that has a great view and is walkable to the beach. There was no shortage of beach towels...

'Altough walkable to downtown Penticton's Main St, driving acces somewhat trickier because of the Kettle River preventing direct access by car. No problem once you figured how. Saw a deer in a nearby house's garden one afternoon. An unexpected pleasant surprise. Owners live upstairs and readily solved any issues that might arise. Relatively new VRBO listing. I am sure they will build a loyal following over time. EC Vancouver'

'This place has everything you need and it's very neat and clean. The backyard pool and shaded couch area is great if you want to hang out there all day. Very quiet and safe neighborhood and town.'

'We were 10 of us and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Enough beds and well equipped kitchen. The deck had enough seats for everyone and wonderful views of the lake below. Enjoyed the fire pit near the dock, great for gathering around. Hosts were very responsive. The only issue was all burners on the stove were not working which made cooking a slow process. 'The strength of this VRBO is the view from the patio area. It is stunning. The accommodations are well suited for 4 ppl with generally comfortable beds, easy access, good parking and small efficiency kitchen for simple snack preparation. The shared bathroom between bedrooms worked out ok however it was a bit awkward to have to walk through one bedroom to get to the next bedroom through the bathroom. Yet, we used the sliders in the bedrooms to go outside and adjusted without much of a problem. It...

'The owners were personable but still gave us our privacy. The privacy fence outside was a great touch to feel like we could be very private. The unit itself was cozy and welcoming. Having a washer and dryer was a nice touch and we made use of it after two weeks on the road. Air conditioning in the bedroom was lovely. Toffee, the owner's dog, was so cute and very friendly. 'This was our first time renting a cottage. We were amazed on the beauty of this place. There was everything we needed in the cottage. It was easy to walk around and go to the lake and enjoyed the landscaping. There wasn’t too many things open in February but we made the best of it. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. '
