'What an exceptionally beautiful hotel, set away in a magnificent rainforest. We had a room right on a cascading creek and the sound of the water was pure magic. There were a family of monkeys on the trees directly in front of our balcony, oblivious to us. So much fun to observe them. The service of the staff was exceptional and Dumi, our guide had a deep knowledge of the area and took us on some wonderful local field trips. I cant praise Glenrock enough. 'We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

'Nothing less than amazing to describe the caring & dedicated staff to the authentic food & environment at the camp. A unique experience out in the jungle connecting with nature. The walk was at times tedious but fabulous & we got to see a large herd of wild elephants plus many species of flora & fauna. We walked through the local village & saw them harvesting their crops as well as encountered a group of local gem miners at work! Miss the place already & would love to return some time soon. '

'We stayed for one night for the Safari. The property is well maintained, clean and it is as described. The owner is very responsive, offer good service. We enjoyed the breakfast included in the reservation after the Safari. I would definitely recommend this place. '

The owner was able to arrange our safari, taxi and trip to the Elephant Transit home. All very close by. Excellent communication. They organised some water for the early morning safari and breakfast on our return. Freshly cooked and plentiful breakfast. The family were generous with their hospitality'

'Agthira river camp was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was so nice. Looking onto the river was very relaxing and hours were spent watching the monkeys. The buffet in the morning and evening was great. The safari was booked via the hotel and was a great experience.'

'Such a lovely little place to stay for the night. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were so kind and lovely, the home cooked food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. They also arranged a safari for us, we had a jeep to ourselves, and saw many animals (elephants, monkeys, mongoose). All in all a fabulous experience, and incredible value for money. '

'it was a very irresponsible service, where I made the booking on 27th October for 11th December, 45 days prior (booking confirmation 133489232195). Since their Head Office didn't forward the booking details to the site. They refused to accept my booking, since they have over sold the rooms. After showing the evidences, they were trying to offer us a horrible location as an alternative and argued with me that the Credit Card payment was not made by them, whereas it was debited in October...
