'We had a great week at the Alpen Bluffs so many amenities for the kids. Pool and hot tub were greats inflatable course was fun for kids.'

'Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Food at Duck Blind was very good and their staff were very engaging and efficient. The grounds and buildings need a lot of work. Was sad to see the outside pool was not operational. The grounds and buildings need some TLC!!'

'The room was not clean, makeup on a pillow case, trash by the desk not emptied in one room. A stain spot on the comforter of another room. Stand light not working, outside doors have cracked trim and peeling paint. When I showed the photos to the desk clerk, his response was to give me an email address to send the pictures to.'

'The property is run down and needs a face lift. The carpet in the hallway is fraying and uneven in some parts (hard to roll at your luggage). The room is a mishmash of furniture, however clean, but again needing a facelift. The bathroom was the most disappointing. 'Hotel was clean well kept. Room was clean comfortable beds were also comfy. Didn't use pool so can't comment on that. Breakfast has several options.'

'Very disappointed so much pot smoking in rooms and entry from parking lot. This is No smoking hotel, all the loud running and other guests in hallways, and the e bugs crawling in my room, made me leave a day early forfeiting my 2nd nights fees.'

'Cute renovated motel rooms. There was a vintage Magic Chef cookstove that had working burners, there were pots and dishes so we could cook our corn on the cob dinner. Quiet, safe location. Only small thing is that there is a window air conditioner, so if you sleep in the bed by the window then it blows all night right on or over you. If the weather is cooler, this would not be relevant. Bathroom is small but everything works including the shower, good water pressure. Great for an overnight...

'The room was a traditional small motel room that met our needs for a stopover on a road trip. The room was a bit stuffy. It had amenities like in-room coffee and refrigerator. The office offered some snacks and additional toiletries. It was located across the street from a restaurant/bar but there was not much else around that you could walk to after being in a car all day.'
