'This place was everything we wanted for a quiet, scenic weekend getaway. The river is steps away and has a beach area to set up chairs, fish, and swim. The view from the back is an open field and wooded area. The covered area over the camper has a constant breeze even on the hot weekend. 'This place was a dream. Exactly as we expected and more. We brought family and friends for a long weekend on the river and couldn’t have asked for a better location or better amenities. 'We are repeat guest. As always property was well stocked and very clean. Diane is a great host and always available if needed. Caught a couple nice Blue Catfish, 8-10lb. Kicked back outside by the fireplace and relaxed. We unplug when we are there. No news, no phones, no stress. Not too many full-time neighbors. (very quiet). Those that live there are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay for those looking to return to a simpler time, even just for a few days.'
