'The staff was great in their honesty and thank you Expedia for refunding our stay. This hotel didn’t have writing ac and it was over 85-90 Minnesota-heat. They were honest, allowed us to cancel and our money showed back up after 10 days. I wouldn’t stay here though even if the ac was working. It’s really run down.'

'Less private than a hotel despite the remoteness. Nice beach and lots of water toys, kayaks and life jackets. Expensive if you’re just looking for a quiet nights sleep, but, a nice place nonetheless.'

'The property was very similar to the photos, with a short walk to the river access. We had been concerned that the cabin would be smaller than expected for four adults, but it was very spacious and generally comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and cooking essentials, but there was no coffee. The only issue was that the bunk beds were uncomfortable and very, very squeaky. Any slight movement caused a squeak, and it was so hard to sleep that one person...

'Beautiful place our family and friends loved and the hospitality was like no other!! We had a barbecue on our first night and it was a awesome patio with a huge Blackstone that we grilled our steaks and Brats on they had everything we needed to feed our group!! They also had a bonfire pit that my husband was excited to light up it was so cozy!! Thanks Paul and Deb for everything we really enjoyed it and would recommend this beautiful getaway to everyone!!'
