'Good hotel with a nice view on the Salar. Hot water, very nice bedding and the Spa makes this an excellent choice. Standards very high for Bolivia. Although promised, no breakfast for early sunrise leavers (06:00). '

'I booked Hotel Sal Andina through Expedia for three nights, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Expedia stated that English and Spanish were available, but I could not communicate with any staff member in English. All explanations were in Spanish, so I had to use a translation app every time. This made even simple interactions stressful. Expedia also advertised a 24-hour front desk, but staff were not actually available 24 hours a day. I had a prepaid tour departing at 3:30 AM, but...

'Listen up... this is not the most fancy place and that's ok... it's a inn situated inside a train station. I booked the family room which feature a loft and private bathroom. The window was always ajar and the cold breeze keeps wafting through. There is ample space to walk around and doesn't feel cramp. In fact, the dark wood might be comparable to a Scandinavian lodge! The manager is friendly. Truth be told, there aren't many fancy boutique hotels in the vincinity. Uyuni may be tourists centric...

'This hotel was excellent. The property is in a convenient location right near the main square and tourist offices. The breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely and clean. The room was also very warm and hot running water which was very welcome!! The staff are very friendly and helpful, I would certainly recommend a stay here.'
