'The staff members were extremely personable, courteous, and attentive to my comfort. I came down with a brief illness, and the hotel keeper even escorted me to the pharmacy, as I speak poor Spanish. The breakfast of fresh eggs, bread, condiments, and tea was a good start to my days. I very much felt at home in this hotel even though I was a foreigner.'
