'Didn't look like much from the outside older building. The rooms are accessed through hallways at the end of the building kind of inconvenient. But to our surprise the room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. It was okay for a one-night stopover. Breakfast was about average'

'The grounds were sad, very unkept, poolwas covered, not usable. room had cockroaches and flies( i know they cant help that) sheets were thin and yucky. the room smell was horrible,strong order of dog feces nd urine. i usually do not give bad reviews, i travel a lot for work and have stayed in many low priced hotels, so i give them some grace. i would have walked out of there( first time i ever thought about doing that) but it was prepaid, no refund and it was late. Staff and check in was great...

'The Lady running the place was very sweet and considerate of my handicap. Our room was VERY clean and had all the amenities that were advertised to be provided. This place is pet friendly, though we did not bring any with us, there were other guests with theirs. Thank you Americana Motel for being our first stop on our Honeymoon Road Trip ❤️'

'The house and property are wonderful and a unique experience. The host is very friendly and successfully provides a great place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked and even had juice and cream for your coffee. We enjoyed our time in Tucumcari and recommend the train and dinosaur museum, as well as the historical society.'
