The privacy walls on both ends of the deck made for a very private stay even though there are three cottages on the property. We loved the solitude and quietness of the area. 'Visited with my sisters. We tend to play Dominos much of the time, and the table and chairs were great for this. Nice outdoor area and sun room. Very convenient and comfortable overall. We "older generation" folks missed having "regular TV channels with news and ball games for example, but this wasn't a big issue. Host replied quickly to questions. Great stay, lovely accomodation.'

'This property is definitely a diamond in the rough. It was a bit scary trying to find the property because of construction and a lack of signs on the roads (not the property’s fault). We asked the local firemen where the address was and they helped us. Parking was confusing but it worked. The building itself is a beautiful old mansion which has been converted to be a comfortable stay. The laundry was especially useful. '

'Beautiful room with antiques. Easy to find your room. Many pubs and entertainment within walking distance. Loved every minute of our stay!'

'Can’t ask for much more than a comfy porch and hot tub at the end of a long day. We thoroughly enjoyed the back yard and the kitchen - all cupboards were labeled. We were two senior couples - 70 to 80. If anyone has mobility issues they need to sleep in the main floor bedroom and use that bathroom. 'Amazing accommodation and property on the Bay of Fundy. Private beach, great for sea glass picking. The host, Karen, was very responsive and provided everything needed and expected, as well as some “extras”. From the expansive property we saw water birds, sea otters, deer and a fox! '

'Perfect for us to spend a relaxing week on the ocean. Everything we needed was right there for us and worked perfectly. We ate dinner outside on the deck most nights and saw beautiful sunrises as well. It was quick and easy to get into St. John or anywhere for that matter. We loved it!!'

'Wonderful quiet location on the peninsula with gas stove, bbq, and a fire pit. Comfortable beds and a short walk to Crystal beach although the owner has a parking pass if you wish to drive. Directly across from the Westfield ferry is a coffee shop with Java Moose coffee. Wifi is top notch with generally us using 2 laptops plus cell phones.'

'We booked this basement apartment for one night while we were passing through New Brunswick. It was exactly what we needed, a clean cozy place to stay on our travels. Good neighbourhood and the host was nice as well. I would recommend this place to stay if you are just passing through! '

'It was very cozy and felt like home. A bit hot at times but luckily they thought of fans for each room and living room. We would love to come back and stay again!'

"Er wordt ontbijt aangeboden, meer een Canadees ontbijt. Jammer van plastic bestek met uiteraard de wegwerpcups. Direct aan een drukke weg, wat in de nacht zeker meevalt. De kamer is gigantisch groot. Ontbijt in een weekend of fst dag kun je niet gebruiken als je met de ferry van 8.00 gaat, omdat je 1 uur tevoren daar moet zijn. Het ontbijt is dan niet om 6, maar vanaf 7 beschikbaar. "

"Ik vond mijn verblijf helaas niet geweldig. De kamer rook sterk naar sigarettenrook, gemaskeerd met een chemisch luchtje dat het alleen maar erger maakte. Hoewel ik zogenaamd uitzicht had op de haven, keek ik vooral uit op een parkje dat vol lag met afval. Ik had het idee om naar het centrum te lopen, maar voelde me onderweg niet op mijn gemak en ben daarom teruggegaan naar het hotel. Geen aanrader voor mij."
