Had to use context clues to find a restaurant that was in the video and follow from there. We were waiting by the door for a while because someone had to come unlock it for us. 'Good points: -The house seems to be a relatively new construction . -The second floor room has a decent view to watch the sunrise. But the house is not in the lake. -The kitchen was well equipped. Regular points : -Lots of Construction around that starts at 6:45AM - From the main road to the house is dirt and rocks so You have to carry your suitcases. -Far from the embarcadero or main are in town, a good 30 minutes walk or 10 minute Tuck Tuck that cost Q10/ $2 US quetzales per person...

'Cute room with fantastic daily cleaning by lovely lady. Great view, just as advertised. Quick access to lakefront restaurants or tuktuk ride up to Santa Cruz. Like everything around Lake Atitlan, the climb is up or down…not a problem for us, but could be with heavy suitcases.'

The security guard and the woman living next to the property were very kind and welcoming to us, as they would always ask if we needed anything. Overall our one-night stay was great for all 9 of us. 'The property is excellent. The host Laura and the manager Levin went above and beyond to help us. We really appreciate their flexibility and help in our late arrival and check out as well. The only thing I would say is that the hike up to the house from the church is a challenge. They have clearly stated that but what I was not ready for was the unclean and unhygienic conditions of the path to the house - there is sewage and trash everywhere - if you can ignore that it was all great.'
