'The front desk tried to charge me an extra $100 deposit when I checked in even though I had booked months in advance. They didn't have a room ready and I was two hours late checking in as I arrived late. Many of the rooms were deemed not suitable for habitation by the city with visable signage. The room service was done only if asked. The hotel smelled like mildew everywhere. The shower puddled behind the toilet when used. The "kitchen" sink didn't work. Neighborhood seemed to be relatively safe & quiet. Only odd thing to be forewarned about is all of the unusual smells in common areas. Combinations of insence, vape, dog, cologne, carpet shampoo. I will return if I'm in the same price point next time I'm in the area.'

'We reserved a room for 4 guests. Our room only had 2 towels. When the front desk was paged, we were told to go get them from the lobby. I asked if they could be brought to the room and the gentleman was nice enough to bring them. Then, we realized that the room had no hand soap and no body wash.
