They were also flexible on our check out date which was really appreciated. However, the address indicated on vrbo is not correct. This complicated our check in because we went to the wrong location at first. The appartement is a bit remote, up a hill on the south side of the lake which complicated transportation.'

'House is in a quiet location away from crowds. Considering the ugly housing situation in SL, I greatly appreciate the privacy this house has to offer. Nice garden and the view of Hantana mountains. House is spacious and clean. I would stay again. On the downside, kitchen is quipped with the cheapest of cheap flimsy stuff. If you enjoy cooking, forget about the kitchen. Hope, some day owners would upgrade kitchen. Overall, this is a good place to stay in Sri Lanka.'

'We loved our stay at Kandy Shady Trees thanks to the very welcoming and accommodating nature of our hosts. The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable and breakfast was fresh and substantial. The location is up a steep hill (we took a tuk tuk up and down it) but could be walked.
