'I love this hotel! It’s clean and super safe (they have a security guard at the gate). The staff is helpful and welcoming. They can help you find restaurants, get a a taxi, even just answer questions about Tanzanian culture. Most speak very good English. The owner is onsite almost everyday and really nice. 'We had a great stay at lilac hideaway but the thing that stood out most are the way they stepped up to help guests with travel plans We rented a dud 4x4 and it would not start after we checked in - but Eli jumped in an d organized mechanics to come and then drove with us to take the car to the mechanics once they had gotten a new battery in. 'I had wonderful stay for 3 weeks at Kibo Palace Apartments. The staff was wonderful and helpful. They were always available for questions, directions and recommendations. In addition, if I needed more towels or housecleaning they came that day. Zeno, the property manager was especially wonderful and I'm grateful for her and the ability to stay at the apartments during my stay in Arusha.'
