'The hot tub was extremely dirty or rusty with no water in it. The room was very damp and musty - it felt like the air conditioner was not removing humidity. The fire detector was missing from the ceiling. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were tiny and when we asked for more, we were asked why we needed more. Breakfast ended at 9:00 on a weekend. The pool did not open until 10 AM - very inconvenient for kids who wanted to swim before we left.'

'The room appeared to be clean, however I spilt some water on the floor and when I cleaned it up, the paper towel was black. It did not appear the floors had been scrubbed in quite some time. Bed was comfy. Kitchen could have been stocked better, particularly with water glasses. Limited towels, only 2 bath towels for a 3 night stay for 2 of us, one kitchen hand towel, one dish cloth and no towel to dry dishes, the dishwasher was out of order. 'This is a great place to stay compared to a hotel! The house is well taken care of; cozy, and has all of the amenities that you need to feel like home. The hostess was super available and communicative! You can tell the owners love the house for how cozy it is. Super clean, tons of towels, and the beds were super comfortable! Close access to Blue Mounds State Park. 15/10 would stay again! There’s a good restaurant/bar in town!'
