'Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM. Property manager was polite, courteous and helpful (he met us at the property). He had the hottub waiting for us nice and hot!'

'I stayed at Kootney Resorts for about 10 days for work and it was fantastic! Trish and Kyle were lovely hosts and tremendously helpful. Kyle in particular helped me repair some of my equipment, gave me all sorts of useful info on where to find things, and hooked me up withe the best cuisine in the area (he's a chef so he knows which places to eat). 'Great (and brand new) location, comfy room, great sea views, really nice food and an amazing host who knows a lot about the island. A 4wd is recommended to drive up the short but steep driveway. When ever we come back to Dominica, we will definately come back here.'

'Zeer moeilijk te vinden : smal zijstraatje van de (kust)hoofdbaan, niet verlicht en kaarsrecht omhoog, en zonder wegwijzer. Laat toegekomen maar niettemin heel goed ontvangen en de keuken werd speciaal voor ons geopend. Zalig nachtje geslapen in kingsize bed en 's morgens een verrukkelijk ontbijt (uitgebreid en met veel fruit). We gaan zeker terug, al was het maar om dat aanlokkelijke zwembad uit te testen.'

'An excellent outpost for us to drive the island on 6 individual day trips. Perfect room with a great sleeping mattress and all accoutrements needed plus a tea table on a covered porch. The Caribbean view was an awesome experience morning and evening. The restaurant was our stalwart for nourishment each morning and all but one evening.
