We had a wonderful stay at Amoa Resort. From the warm and respectful welcome to the thoughtful accommodation arrangements that kept our family close together, everything was exceptional.
The staff were friendly and attentive, dinner was delicious, and the complimentary breakfast offered a great variety. I especially appreciated that breakfast is served until 10 a.m., allowing guests to relax and enjoy their morning.

'For the price I paid for (NZD1500), I still believed that the service was not on par. Stayed in the front rooms of the hotel on the very top floor (top room straight across the waterfront) and 1st day of our stay, we experienced that during the day when there was a gust of wind coming through the front open deck into the open lounge area, it would blow our door opened (even when we fully locked it). For 3 days I complained about this and all they could do was "keep an eye out for it". So when...

'They were in the process of finalising some renovations so my room was very new and I really loved it - all the staff were kind, welcoming and always making sure I had everything I needed.
The grounds were beautiful and well kept, the beach was stunning and they have onsite parking which was very useful.
I am lactose intolerant and the restaurant had alternative milk on site which I was very grateful for.'

'It was ok the restaurant's food was not good. We ate there once and never again. Were told they would include breakfast and then told we had to pay. The rooms were not serviced well and some days not done at all. The pool was also very dirty.'

'At the restaurant are a lot of cats, it doesn’t matter if you come for breakfast, lunch or diner. The cats coming to your table and wait for people to feed them. When you walk away from the table, the cats jumping on the table and eating the food. '
